A person who is phsycotic, has lost touch with reality...they hallucinate, become paranoid, imagine things, and can be very dangerous

being mentally ill, the difference is when I cannot compare my phychotic thoughts to others around me. I do this so i can judge if I am beginning to have a episode and need to seek medical assistance. Reality is something that is either consistent and I know for a fact is not something out of my mind.

Technically, each is based on what the world considers "normal", which changes with every generation. The difference of the two is how the world perceives their differences. Like the whole psychological idea, "There is no spoon" (and no, it's not just from the Matrix). A spoon is how society perceives it. Red is red, blue is blue, but in reality red and blue are neither, they are a collection of atoms. Do I make sense?
