earlier today i noticed Exactly where my appendix should be on my stomach there is a bump about an inch wide. it doesent hurt at all and i dont feel sick but it is weird because its exactly where my appendix is. could this be an early stage of appendicitis or something? i hope its not because once a friend of mines appendix burst when we were camping. and he was in a lot of pain.
any help would be appreciated

There is an easy way to diagnose yourself on appendicitis. Lay on your bed face up, lift your right leg (stretched), if you don't feel pain in the place the appendix is located, you can be sure you don't have the disease.
If you feel pain, you MAY have the disease, and you have to go to the doctor, he will take a blood sample for a count of white blood cells. It's the usual way to diagnose the illness.

I had appendicitis, I was in pain for the whole night, but the pain disappeared in the morning. It happened to me in 3 occasions in a span of 6 months until I finally went to see a doctor. He had me blood tested to confirm it. I had an operation that same day. I never had bumps, but I did experienced some cramps on my legs which the doctor said is one of the symptoms. I hope this clarify things for you.

Are you really sure about the bump or is it something like a gland? You could have hurt ur self while doing something strenuous or do u have a pain in ur tummy area? Usually its on the right side of the Tummy!! If its not getting right in a day or two pls go see your doctor!!! Its ery important.

The soreness might be at the r ight facet. Real low.I went to the health facility as soon as a whilst again considering I had appendicitis.The dr. was once pushing on my correct facet and I might scream everytime he might push down on my r.facet. Without taking any blood or something he mentioned good it isn't your appendics.I requested him how he would inform it was once'nt and he mentioned it might'nt harm while he driven down on it nevertheless it might fairly harm while he took the stress off. So thats the change among appedicitis or a contamination of a few form.

I is more than likely a hernia if its a protruding bump.
Appendix are internal and you wouldn't see a bump even if they were about to explode.

to me it sounds like a hernia or a cyst. I would get it checked out asap.
