Just taking into account the over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament of a coming Messiah (Jesus) why do the nonbelievers continue to ignore the truth?

Jesus Christ fulfilled more than 300 prophecies in His life. Here's something that can help you appreciate the odds of this happening: If ONLY 8 of these 300 prophecies came true in any one person,it would be comparable to this:
Build a small fence around the state of Texas
fill it 2 feet deep in silver dollars
paint 1 of them red
mix it all up
then--starting at the Louisiana border, walk blindfolded as far into Texas as you want to go,
then lean over,still blindfolded,
and pick up the red silver dollar

And remember, these are the odds of just EIGHT of the +300 prophecies of Jesus coming true.
Satan surely has applied the blinders to many.

All below who don't agree are only proving the true words of Jesus :
'Wide is the path to destruction (hell) and narrow is the gate to heaven that so few choose'

Prophecies are related to things which haven't happened yet, not things which some anonymous writer claims were predicted and came true 2,000 years ago. Find some risky and unambiguous prophecies in the Bible that we can *see* come true in future weeks, months or years, and maybe you'll have some converts. Until then, it's just religious mythology.

If Jesus WASN'T someone who grew up hearing those prophecies all of his life, that would be amazing. But AT LEAST 8 could easily have been counterfeited by someone who had a thorough knowledge of Jewish scripture. There would also be plenty of motive for a person to counterfeit these "prophecies" in order to secure themselves a place in history. Why do you ignore the blatantly obvious?

hindsight=20/20
everybody is a monday morning quaterback.
read exodus 21/20 & 21/21 & explain how god fails to understand the nature of internal hemmorraghing.
as u read thru your eyes of faith, you are insulting as u define the very god which gave u magicof life.i see disagreeing prophets who eventually want to send their nonbeleivers to hell.Sounds like u have it all neatly figured, biblically cozy, so to avoid any judgements from transgressions.
exodus verse came from kingjames. i have read more recent versions which reversed the verse so that god doesnt seem so ignorant.so

There are no prophetic truths. The bible is just a story. You may not introduce evidence from the bible to support the claim that the bible is true. And please stop copying and pasting the same question over and over.

You don't really make any effort to distinguish "true" from "false", do you?

It's fine if you want to tell yourself tall tales, but it's either silly or offensive for you to insist that the rest of us also lie.

For the same reason that bible fanatics push their beliefs on others. Sorry. I love my God but I don't want someone telling me what to do with regard to Him or the bible. Sorry!!
