they were broke up about 7-8 mos.when were out he see car like his ex and say it is his ex car but when he chek the plate # he said is not,i ask him if he still know the plate #of his ex he said yes. does he love her still?or im just jeluous?

your jealous, and insecure. I remember every number i see I still know phone numbers of friends from elementary school and im 28. I changed my ex wifes plates for her and have been divorced for 2 years but still know the number.

Sorry !! This is not normal !! There is a reason he still knows it.I have no Ideal what my b/f's plate # is .Or even my own.
I would ask him why he knows it.And pay attention to how much he talks about her.Even if it's bad stuff.that will tell you a lot.I dated a guy who supposedly hated his ex wife.But he talked about her all the time.And had to be following her .He knew way to much about what she did.I bet he knew her plate # too.
He may still be very wrapped up in her.I dumped the guy I was dating.I mean we all have a past and make talk about things in them.But not to excess.Or not to the point we know their plate #'s.

Sometimes little details stick with us for a very long time for no apparent reason. It does not mean that he still loves her. I can remember the phone number to my house from when I was nine. We moved numerous times after that and that is the only one I remember. Focus on the current relationship you have and don't worry about the past.

It's perfectly normal. I still remember my ex's number plates. Some of us are just like that with numbers?

He sounds a little obsessed with the exgirlfriend. He's got his eye out looking for her car and knows the liscense plate number? that's insane. Tell him if he doesn't cool it, than he can just find someone else. You shouldn't have to play seconds to someone who isnt as emotionally involved in your relationship as you are.

I wouldn't worry about it. The number might be one that's easy for him to remember or he spent a lot of time looking for it when they were together or maybe it just stuck in his head for no good reason. I remember odd little facts like birthdays or phone numbers for people who I can't even remember a last name and never liked all that much.

I don't think that though feelings of affection really go away so I can real understand him. Its really not healthy for him to engage in these kind of actions. As his girlfriend you need to express your concern about this obsession and ask him to stop.
