neither, christians can have hard lifes too.
athiest think they can be happy without god but you cannot be,NOTHING satisfies people in this world.if anybody has found anything,do say.nothing here gives everlasting happiness.
this life doesnt matter ONE little bit,it is the life after.
this life is sooo short in comparison.

Well I'm an atheist and f-cking miserable but this is due to family issues. I'm starting college though and it's all starting to get better. I dropped out of school because of alot of problems I was having emotionally even though I had straight A's at the time. Haha yea you should of heard everyone they were all like wtf. But I've got past all that and my atheism has actually helped me be more rational and be where I'm at intellectually at the moment. I have a new appreciation for education after fully converting to atheism a few months ago. And I got my GED and am starting college in May like I said before. I can't wait I'm so excited and thinking about maybe becoming a doctor. I think a lot of religious people live happy life’s because of the safety net they have. ''But saying a religious person is happier is like claiming a drunken man is happier''. It may make them feel better but atheists are better at rationalizing which leads to a healthier more fulfilling life. Well at least the smart ones we have our idiot atheist's to who are just fed up with religion. But my mother and father are fundamentalist Christians and they have miserable life’s hence why I have one. Of course they don’t admit they do and act like everything is perfect.
Sorry for the life story but you asked for it haha

A person who LOVES God. There are ppl who believe in God, but this does not mean they love God and follow Him.
It may look like some Athiests have happier lives than other Christians, but, r they really happy? As in, not just having fun, but really ,truely happy. That is the Q that they have to ask.

atheists most definately have a better life. Seems non religious people have things figured out way more and tend to be happier. Take the percentage of abusers/child molesters/prison immates/ people concerned with laying treasure up upon the earth......they are christians. From my life observeances they just seem to be miserable people looking to make others as miserable as they are. They get so threatened so quickly by people who don't believe as they do.

I suppose you could make the case that believing in a fun happy magic land makes you happier as long as you don't think about it too much.
But consider this: Who is happier - people who believe there's a giant diamond buried somewhere in their back yard and dig for it every sunday, or those who know it's a delusion?

A believer has much more possibility of happiness because happiness comes from gratitude to God. Many believers are not grateful for that which God has done for them so they are same as non-believer as far as happiness goes.

I can't speak for anyone but myself. I believe in God. I love God and I love Life. Life is His gift. Yes I am very happy.

I don't believe happiness is based on religious belief. Happiness is a state of mind that your actions and thoughts influence. It is like "is there a heaven or hell"-it depends what you make of your life. The only heaven or hell I think you can find is what you make of your life here on earth. So religious preferences may help guide your thinking but you happiness is solely up to you.

pleasure has demands. happiness makes no demands. One does not need a reason to be happy...though one does need a reason to feel pleasure. The two are not synonymous.
As such, happiness is in no way related to whether someone is a theist or an atheist. Happiness does not depend on anything.
