Try your local Salvation Army. Go to Friends Reunited as someone may know of him even if he does not use a computer. Check census forms if you have any clue of the area he may live or have lived in. Try locating Irish Societies in England as they may know of him. Good luck.

Hi,
I know your parents fell out with your grandad, but can they not provide you with any information as to his whereabouts? I'm sure they would understand if you wanted to get in touch with him, after all, whatever happened was between them and him and had nothing to do with you! Why should you and your children suffer for it?

Good luck! I hope you find him!

Try ancestry.com.
If you can't get the answers from your parents, there might be other relatives who are connected to your grandad. There are people there that you can connect.
