Chapter Anbiya of holy Qura'n a verse explains that Dhul-Kifl was among the patient people, some religious scholars believe that Dhul-Kifl is meant over here as Buddha. He was son of the king of Kipl, there is no sound in Arabic, like "P". Arabic name Kifl is as Kipl.

Chapter Al-Anbiya, Verse No.85.
And (remember) Ismaeel and Idris and Dhul-Kifl, all were from among As-Sabrin (the patient ones, etc.)

Refer to Dr. Israar Ahmad's Biyaan ul Qura'an, a vedio of his explaination of Holy Qura'n.

Buddha may be he was a good person may be not....any way Qurran did not mention Buddha but talked alot about Buddhism and other nontheistic when Allah said:
023.091 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege.

Just read Qurran it will tell you alot..
