So that when we cross timezones, we don't to adjust it by ourselves? If so, what brands are there? I mean standalone wristwatches, not those found in a laptop, cellphone, PDA or similar device.

Yes have a look at Casio waveceptors. They may not be totally Global but it really close now, and some are solar powered. Mine works in the USA and Europe.

Not yet produced, may be in future some manufacturer like Casio may come out with a watch fully controlled by satellite..
