Can anyone help. I am currently on hold to NHS Direct but they are taking ages. My 2 1/2 year old has a rash and her face and arms. She is complaining that the rash on her arms is burning. Anyone have any ideas what this could be. I haven't changed my soap powder and she hasn't eaten anything she doesn't normally. Many Thanks.

you need to take her to the doctor- if she has a fever it could be a viral vs. bacterial illness. Or, she could be having an allergic reaction. She is too young to fool with over the counter meds. All young babies and toddlers are weight based for medication dosages. If it gets bad- go to the ER

Get a wet cloth onto it to kill the burning, i wouldn't put on anything else until your sure what it is so water is the best solution to cool it.
