Me and my parter were going through some ruff times and when everything was back to normal i decided to put a little twist in our relationship. I let him have sex with one of my best friends......
Is this wierd?

Not so much weird as self destructive. You have put a time bomb into your relationship which will go off fairly soon. It is a good way to have set up a self fulfilling prophecy to end the relationship. My ex wife allowed the same and it and of course other things led to the end of the relationship. Yes it can be fixed, but not by having an open relationship. The way to fix this is to close off your relationship to others and dedicate yourselves to each other.

Yes, because you have just given him permission to sleep with others. It gives him a blank check to go out and shop for a new girlfriend. This relationship is doomed. I hope that you get out as soon as you can because, this will not turn out in a good way. He will leave you for another woman, or you'll get tired of him cheating on you, and he will be happy to be rid of you. I wish you had sought advice prior to this twist. I wish you the best of luck!

Well, now it depends on how you and your partner really feel about it. Would it bother you if he wanted to do it again, or all the time? Does he think you will let him do this often? I have had some experience in this, and it did not end up going well. It turned out that the one I was with, was only trying to make her cheating OK.

That's great as long as it didn't make you think any different about your BF or GF. Sex is an activity too many people hold it as more. Just make sure if or when it becomes 3 lay the ground rules out in advance and make sure its always with someone you don't know.

Ok, I guess I could see bringing in a 3rd person for a "twist"...but your best friend?!?!? Are you out of your mind? I would NEVER invite a best friend even though I am very sexually open... hun you have some issues!

Most definitely. My x says I would cross the line to have sex with her friends and she is my x. You got hard life with this guy if you serious. Boy I hope you guys are just fooling around and there no feelings involved.

Yes it is wierd, according to my point of view.
Do you want to be a true partner, or just hanging around with him only for pleasure?

It's chaos and most relationships don't get better for it. You have given him the idea that sex with someone else is ok
