this guy knows i like him he has done for ages.....the other day he asked me to sit next to him in class and he started whispering to his friend about how much he thought this other girl was hot but he said it loud enough so i could hear him....he is a nice guy but why did he do this? is he trying to make me jealous for a reason? he is really nice to me all the time and he always picks me first for being on his team in p.e! but i dont know why he said that he liked another girl right in front of my face?

I can only think of only two possible reasons: one is that he wants to make you jealous. Two, he's giving you a clue not to hope anymore.

I just answered this question i think, but basically I doubt he did it to hurt you. He either just thinks of you as a friend, or he wants you to get a hint that he likes someone else and that's the only way he knows how to tell you. He wouldn't pick you for his p.e. team if he didn't see you as a friend. You'll like another boy soon. Don't worry too much.

he is trying to tell you that he likes you in a inmature way. ask him why would he disrespect you and talk about another female in front of you if he likes you.
