When your first spell worked for you,did it scare the hell out of you?Mine did and I thought I was going to hell,so I stopped for a year. Then I educated myself a little more on how spells actually worked at the age of 17,and I resumed practicing.I am asking because as long as I have been practicing,I find myself constantly shocked and suprised at what I contiue to see.

Neither surprised, scared nor shocked. But one (and only one) BACKFIRED big time! Lesson learned. NEVER mess with the free will of another. I guess the only time I am ever surprised is when the spell does not work on schedule! I do tend to be a bit impatient. I studied long and hard before I ever deliberately cast a spell. Found out that I had been doing it subconsciously since I was a toddler. Guess that I should explain that I am Pecti-Witan, a solitary Hedge Witch and most of my spells are not performed in a ritualistic style. Very informal. I do not use an altar but have been casting circles since I learned to walk. Witchcraft runs in my family dating back to at least my Great Grandfather who was a Comanche Medicine Man.
But I digress, I am glad that you have continued your studies and hope you keep studying. I am still learning even after being a witch for many years (over 40).

People fail to realize that spells are EXACTLY like prayers...

I wrote on a piece of paper a wish I wanted fullfilled for a friend, and it was for her to see what she is doing, and that she can do better than the guy she was with, and a week later, they separated, and got back together a month later... :o(
It did surprise me though!!!

I do meditate al ot though

I feel as though you should only prayer/do a spell when its absolutely necessary, and the problem can't be worked out on its own..

Blessed Be!!

I wouldn't know.

Haven't known spells or prayer to work.

Have seen really weird co-incidences though.

Wow you have one hell of imagination then don't you. Most witches know its just a game. It's interesting to actually find someone who is actually convinced the crap is true. Well good for you. Enjoy your trip.
