It was vidur. He was the only one who never lied or cheated in anyway. He was the only who complained when Draupadi was being stripped, & left the assembly. He was the only one who resigned rather than fight an unjust war.
Even Karna lied to his Guru to learn martial arts.

Vidura is one of the most honest characters in Mahabharata. When nobody, including Bhisma and Drona condemned the vastraharana of Draupadi, Vidura spoke up. He gave counsel to Dhritarastra, regarding political alliance with the Pandavas because Krishna was on the side of the Pandavas. He also honestly advised Dhritarastra to get rid of Duryodhana and left the palace immediately being insulted by Duryodhana.
But, he returned back again to the palace when the war was over and Yudhisthira was on the throne. He gave good counsel again to Dhritharatra to give up the palace life and practice austerities and get liberation. Dhritharastra followed this instruction by leaving the palace next day along with Vidura and Gandhari without telling anyone about this.
Some words from A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada regarding Vidura's quality,
Vidura was never attracted by the royal palace of his brother. He was always ready to leave the place and devote himself completely to the transcendental loving service of the Lord. Now he got the opportunity by the grace of Duryodhana, and instead of being sorry at the strong words of insult, he thanked him from within because it gave him the chance to live alone in a holy place and fully engage in the devotional service of the Lord. The word gata-vyathaù (without being sorry) is significant here because Vidura was relieved from the tribulations which trouble every man entangled in material activities.
Vidura is known for honest attitude to serve Krishna so much so that shile offering banana to Krishna to eat, he was giving the banana skins in stead of the pulp banana.

Karan was the most honest character. He had the courage to confront Guru DronaCharya when he was refused teaching by Dronacharya on the pretext that he teaches only royal people whereas his own son was also in the students from the royal clan and made Dronacharya speechless. He (Karna) confronted his own mother Kunti on her display of love towards him as her son and showed her in true colours. He confronted Lord Krishna also when Krishna asked him to fight on behalf of Pandavas as he was their brother. Karna stuck to his word and remained a friend to Duryodhana till his last breath. Thruout episodes in Mahabharata show the strong and honest character of Karna. So I rate him as the most Honest in Mahabharta.

If you want me to qualify the character with the word Honest I will go with Karna.
Untill his last moment he performed his vrath of dhan.
Even after knowing fully well that It will be detrimental to him to alm out his kavach which remained attached to his body from birth, he did not refrain from peeling it off and to alm it out.
He did not betrary Duryodana, to maintain the honesty of freiendship, though he knew that his freiend was wrong.
Loved by his mother Kunti to the extent that he prayed Lord Krishna to spare him in the battle.
He attained salvation (Moksha) before other brothers could attain, by alming out the entire Punya he had earned by his dhans to Vishvarupi Sri Krishna himself.
Karna was son of Surya an embodiment of Honesty and impartiality.
What other thing you need to call him as the honest. Yet ' you too karna' of Abimanyu is still ringing in my ears. But that too was in keeping the vow of friendship to Duryodana, who crowned him as a king when called as inferior by a learned house.

Karna was the most honest character in the Mahabharata. He is also known as the man of his words.
It is believed that Indra, king of the gods (Devas) and father of Arjuna, realised that Karna's armour and earrings were impregnable, which in essence made him invincible in battle. During the Pandavas' exile, when eventual war was imminent, Indra took it upon himself to weaken Karna. He decided to approach Karna as a poor Brahman during his mid-day worship. He knew of Karna's moral policy and that he would never refuse any request of a Brahman or beggar at that time of the day. Surya, Karna's father and god of the Sun, informed Karna in a dream that Indra would disguise himself as a beggar and ask for Karna's armour and earrings as alms. Surya exhorted him not to give away the two, as with them on his body, he was all-powerful. Karna did not know that Surya was his father. As Surya had predicted, a disguised Indra approached Karna and asked for his kavacha (body armour) and kundala (ear-rings) as alms. Karna knew that the armour and ear-rings rendered him practically invulnerable, but nevertheless gave them away. Indra, struck by Karna's genuine kindness, offered Karna the ability to use Indra's most powerful weapon, the Amogh shakti, but only once.
This is why I believe that Karna is the most honest man in the Mahabharata.
Yudhisthir was also a true man. He was a man of Righteousness.

I don't know who was the most honest but I can tell you who was the most dirty "Krishna". he lied, cheated, killed , anything to make the "good" side win, that's why I love him so much. He was a realist in a world of crazy people, full of honor and duty and all that other crap
