Would anyone know why the clutch judders when letting it out on my new toyota hiace van?Im going to go to the toyota garage later,but just wandered in the meantime.

It could be air in the hydraulic system and clutch needs to be pressure bled.It sound like cavitation.

from my own experience a few weeks back id say its the clutch that mite be the problem. my car was losing power also and then eventually it would not budge at All so i ended up having to pay 250 euro for new clutch to be installed

Usually it could be a faulty pressure plate where the springs are weak in places.

Oil getting onto clutch plate

Unevenly worn centre plate

Misaligned clutch or possibly contaminated by oil.

if its fluid type maybe the primary or secondary cylinders have a problem if its cable type maybe the cable has a problem or it could be your pressure plate.
