I'm an agnostic. I don't look for reasons to disbelieve ( since proof of a negative isn't possible). I do look for reasons to believe as -- on the off chance god exists, it is a pretty big deal.
Like contact with them out in the meat world, the christians on here just drive me furthur from any possibility of accepting their position. The straw man questions, the ignorance, and the prejudice convince me that any god would have nothing to do with them. ( Of course the same argument holds for many of the atheists but they don't have the burden of proof that the theists do).
So, yes, it has pushed me furthur from beliefe in a christian god ( or at least of a christian church). I'm going to spend my time on buddism or taoism now. If the christians are right, when their god judges me, I'm sure he will take a peak at them for drawing him in such a bad light as well.

Mine haven't changed at all. I was a socially conservative, fiscally moderate independent who leaned to the Christian side a year ago (when I joined), and I still am.
Well, the only thing that's changed is I've committed my ENTIRE life to Christ, but not as a result of anything on here.

There are two types of people on YA. Those who want discussion & those who want to bash anyone who feels differently.
Discussion helps us grow and modifiy our beliefs & opinion.
But the bashers won't learn anything & discourage anyone else from learning anything.
There are bashers on every side of the fence. Athiest & religious - Republican & Democrat.

Yes after many religious whack jobs telling me that they have God on their on the speed dial. I have grown afraid and converted to becoming a right wing zealot. Who oddly enough, does believe that God told Bush to bomb every nation with the name "STAN" somewhere in it. Amen!!!! HA HA HA HA!!! "3 CHEERS TO THE ANTI CRUSADERS"

I can't say mine has. But I've had to somewhat revise my estimate of humankind, taken as an average. (There *are* sparkling wonderful exceptions)
And it wasn't that high to begin with.
