im 18 and the last boy i was with was very raunchy and started with the 'i love you' from the very begining of the relationship. i could never say it back because i didnt think i could and wasnt even sure if i felt the same way. everytime he said 'i love you' or told me what he 'wanted to do to me' i would always change the subject or become distracted because i felt that he started with that stuff too early in the relationship. can someone really love you that early and really mean it when they say it?

I think saying "I love you" should take a while. But it depends on how you were raised. I was dating a guy for a month when he told me he loved me and I thought he was a nut case. Depending on how early into it he dropped the "L" bomb, he was probably just overly excited about being with you. But you said he was raunchy so he probably thought that saying that he loved you was the way into your pants.

I don't think they can truly know that early. They may feel very strongly for you & think they love you but I really believe it takes at least 3 months to really know, more if you don't see them that often. The guy sounded like a putz anyways, no class.

Yes it is possible. I'm sure you will experience that at one point in your life. Remember anyone can say that to you but, you can tell by the way they respond when they see you and how they treat you. Remember if you meet a man and he treats his mama bad what makes you any different! Godd luck!

No. It isn't unless he was like your best friend for forever. No one can know someone that well that soon. Most boys think with their...you knows...and mostly we forgive them for it. I wish that would stop.
