My nose has quite a lot of blackheads, and has been that way for a while. It's gotten to the point where I don't even like going out because I'm so self-conscious about it. It's embarassing. Are there any amazing products out there that will clear these up? I've tried facial scrubs and they haven't really done the trick.

Blackheads are a type of acne vulgaris. It is caused by excess oils that have accumulated in the sebaceous gland's duct. Blackheads are typically caused by excess oils and make-up. What you can use to treat them are those blackhead nose strips, I find that they work really well, but you have to keep up with it along with cleaning your face everyday. Burt's Bee Deep Cleansing for Pores, works great for cleaning your face and then you can use nose strips once every week.

wash your face everyday. Morning, afternoon (when you get home from work or school), and before bed.

Also try steaming your face. Just boil a pot of water, take it off the stove and place on a table and pull up a chair, grab a towel and place your face over the pot and put the towel over the top of your head so the steam doesnt escape. It will be hot and hard to get used to for the first few minutes but then it wont be so hard. do this until the water stops giving off steam. You should see oil floating in the water. This clears out your pores, cleans out your lungs, and helps clear bleackheads in the long run and prevent them
