I experience this sometimes, especailly when I have an early morning flight, but I don't experience it a week out, only a day or two before. What helps me is planning out exactly what my morning will be like the day of my departure. I think about what time my flight leaves and what time I need to be at the airport prior to that. From there, I figure out how long it takes to get to the airport and I ususally add 15 minutes to that time in case of traffic. Then I figure out what time I will need to get up in the morning to accomplish everything to make that departure time.

I think that it's all about the planning that helps keep my mind off of missing my flight for any reason. Knowing that I have a plan eases any concerns that I may have. If you experience this a week out, I would start planning a week out. Think of all of the things that you will need for the trip, what to take and pack, when to pack and what you will do on your day of departure.

I hope that this helps you calm your nerves. It really helps me.

Just make sure you get to the airport super early, and you will have nothing to worry about! Have a great trip!
