I basically relax,and not think about anything,like the headache for one.It usually for me goes away after a while

Excedrin. If you can't get that, take one asprin, one tylenol, and wash it down with coffee or coke (poor man's Exedrin). Seriously, nothing beats Excedrin (or its formula) for headaches. Heck, it is "The headache medicine". :)
And lots 'o water.

I my self carry around aspirin and hand them out. I tend to give other people headaches....(just doing my job)...lol

Dark room pitch black and also lots of water I have found that aleve and excedrin migraine work well.
Not too much water though if you feel like you are gonna get sick.
