The heart requires time to heal. When you've lost the one that means the most, it is so hard to move on, imagine how you'll move on.
The heart will heal, if you allow it to over time. Allow yourself to grieve, and then allow yourself to move on. If you've loved once, you are capable of loving and being loved.
I lost a great love and I thought I would die, never recover, never. I did recover, but it took time. The experience of love allowed me to love again, allowed me to love more deeply, and allowed me to go in to another relationship with my eyes open and my expectations realized.
You don't say how you lost your love, or if it was a lover, a spouse, a child or a parent. I'm deeply sorry for your loss, and I know you will live through this painful period and learn from the experience.
Wishing you well, and sunny days ahead.

I suppose it's possible. Other people have done it. It really depends on the nature of the person involved. Some people are resilient, even after great loss. I think it also depends on the nature of the loss, to some extent.
Being open to the idea of loving again is also a big part of it. At least that's my opinion.

I know it doesn't feel like it when the heartbreak is so fresh, but you sure can. I was married and divorced twice. It broke my heart, I felt like a statistic. I was the brunt of jokes from friends who were just trying to cheer me up, but all I did was feel worse about myself. 8 months later I met a gentleman online. We corresponded and shared information about ourselves a little at a time. We finally met at a public place, It wasn't long before we met each others' families. We were just meant to be. Everything just felt so right. I decided to marry once more. Good decision. We've been married nearly 9 years and are committed to each other totally. This one will last. He was worth the wait to get this one right.

yap.. every person whom we truly love can be the one that means the most everytime.
he/she may mean the most to you now but when you should have find another one to fill in the emptiness, he/she will become a part of your history (but not necessarily mean the most unless you uphold of your words & never fall in love again- by choice)

if that person doesnt want you, youve tried your personal best...then...if you want to, if youre ready to and maybe when youre not looking for it. 'the one that means the most' is a difficult one to overcome...may take a lonnngggggg time. occupy your mind and heart to yourself and others. peace
