According to what I have read in the Bible, there will be no night for the "glory of the Lord will cause the city to shine and darkness will be no more". There will be no marriage in heaven but we will all have our mansions. But when it comes to food, why the need for it when Christ himself told the Samaritan woman at the well "I have Living Water that you do not know of and you will never thirst again!"
And another good question to add to yours would be, if there is food in heaven, will there be bathrooms? But if our "bodies are changed in the twinkling of an eye" then I see that our "heavenly bodies" will see no need for food for those who are "in Christ" will no longer hunger and thirst but the Lord God will be our "spiritual nourishment". Glory and Praise to our God and Saviour!

Fruit from the tree of life?
"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse."

Assuming there's food and a physical need for it, I would imagine one might have whatever one would like. Personally, I don't think it's going to be an issue. I'd like to try a strawberry without getting sick.
