A hair might be damaged due to different reasons: sun exposure, frequent ironing, straightening, excessive usage of different hair styling products.
I advice that before you consider or undergo and straightening or rebonding process, treat first your hair the natural way.
#1 With a piece of cotton and apple cider vinegar, gently scrub it onto your scalp so it gets moisturized and the massage remaining vinegar unto hair. Leave it for 20 minutes.
#2 Pour and massage a mixture of olive oil, honey blended avocado, and coconut oil unto hair. Leave for 30-45 minutes.
#3 Rinse well with lukewarm water then massage lemon/calamansi under hair and scalp. Leave for 15 minutes.
Do this for 2x a week, until your hair feels so soft and in good condition, as in no tangles. Use may also use Virgin cocohotoil before finally rinsing your hair. It really wworks for us, we're 3 sisters.
#4Look for monea power dose hair repair and hair volumizer available at Watson's P160 and follow instructions on bottle.
#5 In a span of 2 weeks, your hair gets naturally healthier.
This may be just the proper time for you to undergo rebonding, beware of the products being used for your hair. Do not allow any moreatic acid+ vinegar processing during straightening. If your hair is kinky, David's salon are using wella-straight (thailand) products. If your hair has thin strands, use a milder straightener, an italian product was introduced to me, just ask a reputable salon. then follow thru with cellophane - Sebastian brand / while henna wax shine moist is good, stick to transparent shade because if it is colored, it may only last for 2-3 weeks and you might get stains.
If you think you don't really need to straighten you hair, after treating hair with the steps i mentioned (coconut and eerything). Proceed directly to cellope and waxing.
Hair relax, straightening and rebonding are just temporary solutions to your dull hair, but more often it could worsen the dryness of your hair and may encounter greater problems in the future.
You may also do it at home, by buying on salons a semi-delino bottle (blue color) use at least 2 bottles (P150 per bottle) and leave for 45 minutes, afterwards your hair gets smoother and manageable than ever before.
Best shampoo: mildest- Ivory or Green Leaves Jojoba by HBC followed by Green Leaves Jojoba conditioner by HBC, then monea power dose hair repair, ellips jojoba hair vitamin.
BTW, if you need a straightening iron, i'm uing JML's made in london wet or dry straighteners. check in out at leading stores, sm, it control the degree of heat to be applied unto hair.
Hope i gave you the best solutions. God bless!

Coconut Oil with Olive Oil Take sufficient amount of coconut oil and mix it with a teaspoon of olive oil Stir it well and then apply this on your scalp and hair by massaging gently Leave it on for few minutes and then rinse it off with shampoo and water. Coconut Oil with Castor Oil) Take sufficient amount of castor oil and add this to coconut oil Stir it well and apply this on your hair. First of all, separate your hair into 2 equal parts from middle. Apply this oil from starting with scalp and end with tips of your hair (edges of your hair) i.e. you have to cover all over the hair. Then wrap your hair in warm towel or hair cap or shower cap and let it sit for at least 2 hours Wash your hair with regularly used shampoo and conditioner. This combination of castor oil and coconut oil will helps a lot in increasing hair growth, preventing damage, condition our hair, moisturizes scalp and also prevents split ends.
