Through my reading in Islamic history, I came across many incidents when prophet Muhammed sent his companions to ASSASSINATE his opponents. The victims include Asma'a Bint Marwan, Ka'ab Ibn Al Ashraf, Om Qarfa, and many others.

However, the strangest incident I read about was when prophet Muhammad set fire in a house where some Muslims had a meeting to discuss their opposition to prophet Muhammad's war obsession. Fortunately, those Muslims could escape the burning house.

Does this mean that prophet Muhammed was too harsh towards opposition?

A man can have sex with animals such as sheep, cows, camels and so on. However, he should kill the animal after he has his orgasm. He should not sell the meat to the people in his own village; however, selling the meat to the next door village should be fine.

Khomeini's book, "Tahrirolvasyleh" fourth volume, Darol Elm, Gom, Iran, 1990

"If one commits the act of sodomy with a cow, a ewe, or a camel, their urine and their excrement become impure, and even their milk may no longer be consumed. The animal must then be killed and as quickly as possible and burned."

You asked this question an Hour ago with the same meaning.. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjN9l1qBTPqtnYMR5Znbkk_sy6IX?qid=20070324014611AAk1y1L
and I answered you, after 3 minutes exactly you posted the same question here. What's your point? Are you a relative for Asmaa bint Marwan or Something?

Tell us here about those "Islam history books" to negotiate it.. you didn't mention a source for your questions that all are talking about Asmaa bin Marwaan (By the way, Her Name was Bint "AL" Marwan, which consequently means that your books don't seem to be reflecting reality....

BTW in Islam it is forbidden to kill any creature with fire.

i never heard such story, can you provide link to any websites that tell such story?

if you read that story from non-muslim websites, don't easily believe them,non-muslims tend to give some wrong information about islam.

edit:hah,www.islam-watch.org is anti-islam website,don't rely on them.

You bet he was!

However, you need to understand that those people were not too civilized back then and there.

Mohammad also had his good points, in all fairness.

As much as there are accounts of his being harsh, there are also some accounts about his being humane, which should not, in all fairness, be overlooked.

All the best!

Cheers!

Of Course.
You kill your enemies who do not submit to your will or are a threat to your power.

The strangest thing I read about Mohammed in the Hadiths was that he stoned an"adulterous" she monkey.
