Be agressive. Frankly in most sparring situations if you just keep on attacking, and keep your rythem most people will have trouble coping with it. try to throw a kick while takeing a step back some time, and you will see what I mean. Just be sure to mix up your strikes and make them worth dodging so the other guy is consistantly pressured. If he has acctuly been doing this to you, keep an eye on his movements be ready to stand your ground and block a kick, then move in for a punch (assuming this is not sport TKD) or better yet two, he will probally step back, and then you keep the pressure on. No method is perfect, the only real way to win consistasntly is to train harder, and get better.

Diversion is the key, dummy move, tip reverse turning kick, it takes too long & is telegraphed, its easy seen coming. Tip Side step simple side kick. More impack he moves in, back step, back kick.
When your up to it, on the run back, spinning turning kick, most important eye contact.
Main tip on your toes all the time but dont waste energy, wait for the opertunity to nail him, but he may not be confident & dont move.
Its in the eyes & body language, move fast, front kick, hes gone, side kick, oposite side kick, nailed, nailed, nailed.
Gamsa han mei da. Good luck David :)xxx

well, im not sure what your rules are in your style of tkd as far as where you can kick and punch and stuff, but one of my favorite combos is punch, punch, inner cresent kick....it works really well only if you can kick really high, you totally surprise them with the kick when youre in close enough to punch them....hope you find a combo that works for you

wait for the opponent until he comes closer. then hit him with a side kick with your good front leg.
the side kick has a perfect combination of speed and power. so it will make a lot of contact but it won't be obvious to your opponent.
