Yes and No,

She does however need to discuss this with your parents of guardians. They cannot make you go anywhere without consent from a parent. The nurse can refer you to see someone though, but it has to be through your parents.

I believe the right to protect all her charges or pupils is part of the Nurses creed and indeed her calling. Mostly nurses do their job because they care. Think about what she said and ask yourself why would she say it to you???
If your weight is fine and there is nothing to it, she made a mistake.
If the nurse thinks you are harming yourself it is her caring for you that makes her act on her knowledge. It is mandatory to report abuse or suspected abuse and that is what anorexia can be, self abuse.
Go voluntarily to see a specialist and if your weight is too low, sort out why.
You may have an underlying cause and so can be helped.
You must know that treating anorexia is difficult so the sooner you go get started the more well and happy you will be.
Lots of health professionals dedicate their life and careers to the field of caring about other human beings.
Please accept her advice before you are forced to go. Yes you will be taken to hospital if the nurse informs the right people. It would be far nicer for you to go with an adult you trust and get seen and sorted. You can do it!!!!!!!

she can't take you herself. first she needs permission. she would have to talk to your legal guardians before. it would be useless just to take you to a hospital and have you sit there doing nothing. my best advice is to just gain the weight before things get out of hand. talk to your guardian(s) first about what is going on. they have the power to decide whether or not it is absolutely necessary. she might still make you see the doctor but if the doctors say you have a fast metabolism then you are fine. best of luck.

I didn't think a nurse could do that. I have an eating disorder and it has always been an MD that has sent me. She may be able to get help in sending you, but I don't think that she, herself can do it. I could be worng though.
