Sweetie,i love nachos, this is the recipe i use.

First,i make my own corn chips using corn tortillas.I never bought some until recently, and i tried it and i will never buy tortilla chips again.

Cut your corn tortillas into fourths.Lay on a cookie sheet, drizzle with olive oil.Bake at 350 until crisp, remove and salt.Yum.

Next i make my own cheese sauce.

Velveeta cheese,cubed
Heavy cream.

In a sauce pan,add cream and cheese.Stir constantly,until melted.Lower heat to keep melted,or use a fondue pot.Yum.

Next,i use other ingredients such as,scallions or green onions chopped,black olives sliced,refried beans and/or black beans(I prefer),sour cream,tomato chopped.

To assemble, first i start with my chips.Next,i drizzle some cheese over the chips.Top with black beans, sour cream(sometimes i flavor it with taco seasoning),tomato, scallions, and black olives.Drizzle with a little bit more chees and coursely chopped fresh cilantro.

Have a good day hun,and good luck!
