Hmmm....out of context verses from scriptures, for example?
E.g. Revelation 21:8, "And all liars will have their place in the lake of fire"

Sigh, fine. Too bad I can't fix questions >_>
Is wrong and misleading information, can be considered as truth?

example please.
Who do you think is talking in this verse? You do realize that was Jesus Christ talking, don't you? He is God! Read the chapter...that is ironic, but I digress, the verse you have listed is self-explanatory. It is not taken out of context. You are either a liar and in darkness or you are in the light of truth. It is one or the other.

You're into the area of "personal truth"
Someone can give wrong and misleading information while believing it to be true.
An older sense of "truth" was "what one was prepared to swear to in court." The newer sense (of truth = fact) can get mixed up with that older usage.
People will act on what they believe to be the truth, but the belief can be wrong and misleading.
"I didn't think it was loaded."
More nastily there have been times and places where lies have been deliberately employed "in service of a greater truth".
Possibly the most infamous is that (attributed to?) S A Nilus: "Let us admit that the Protocols are false, but is it not possible that God should make use of them in order to expose the iniquity which is approaching? Did not the *** of Balaam utter prophecy? Cannot God transform the bones of a dog into sacred miracles? If He can do these things, He can also make the announcement of truth come from the mouth of a liar."

Yes, that is why I must say to you to my understanding when you teach a person wrong you will be held accounctable. Watch Out for Twisted Scripture The reason it's so important to handle Scrupture correctly is that it's the only way God has chosen to speak directly to us. That's not to say that God doesn't speak to you indirectly. He can and does-through your circumstances, through wise people, and through your own inner sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
But when you interpret Scripture to fit your own desires and preconceived ideas, you just might change it from truth to error. When you change the Bible's objective truth to fit your life rather than changing your life to fit the Bible, you run the risk of "twisting Scripture." Scripture twisting refers to what happens when people interpret the Bible to suit their own false beliefs. The difference between a cult and a religion is that the major teachings of a cult come ot of someone's false interpretation of the Bible whereas a religion is defined more broadly as any system of faith and worship.
If it's not right for you don't pass it on to another.

Try it again Adia, your question has very bad grammar.
If you are asking, "Is wrong and misleading information the truth?" the answer is "Of course not!"
Yes, exactly. That is sometimes called quote mining. It is like when you take one sentence out of a whole paragraph and use it to make it sound like the person said something they never did. It is one of the worst forms of lying.

No. If information is wrong and misleading, it is not truth. It is a lie. The word is "obfuscation" - still a lie, but masked so you don't know it.
It would be like if I tried to give you a hamburger, and you asked if it was made of horse meat. If I said, "It's actually equus caballus," which means, "horse," then I'd still be lying to you.

You must know if the information you have is true or false.
Truth is in your heart and mind, you know truth from lies.
If you think it is wrong or misleading then it must not be true.

I wanted to answer to your other question "Why is it that (some) Christians? But then I deleted my answer. I changed my mind, I want to answer anyway...
Of course it's not fair to take any quote out of context. And it's nice that you write "some" Christians. So I hope you realise that we are not all like that, just as not all Muslims are suicide bombers!

anything that's not the absolute truth is a lie. "misleading" someone is wrong. truth is absolute--there isn't any "mostly true" or "partially true" it's either true or it isn't.
