emotionally & mentally- death of my cousin and first love

physically- when i broke my growth plate in my leg when I was 4. (i don't remember the pain, but I'm sure it hurt)

the pain that i remember that hurt the most was during my grandpa's funeral i was entertaining the little kids outside and one of my little cousins was behind me and the other ran towards me and into me and i fell backwards and i put my arm out behind me to stop myself from falling on my little cousin, and i landed wrong and i could have sworn i broke my elbow, but i didn't.

the pain that 'll be having that'll be worse than that is natural birth with no medication in July! =]

Seriously, no joke... sinus surgery. It was the single most painful experience in my life. Worse than child birth with no meds, worse than a compound foot fracture, worse than losing 2 pints of blood and going in to shock . IF my nose were to be relocated to the side of my face at this point, I'd leave it there before doing that again.

It wasn't the surgery so much as after. But the worst was two weeks later when they yanked (hard!) 9 YARDS of cotton (yep, nine yards is 27 feet) out of the left sinus cavity through my nose. With needle nose pliers. No meds. Then tell you to relax and they'll be back to do the right side in a few minutes once you catch your breath. NOPE. NEVER again.

Hypocalcemic shock. It's like a FULL BODY muscle spasm/cramp. Mine lasted for four hours. I've given birth to three children, one which was 22 hours HARD labor, no epidural, no pain shots ... and I can say with all honestly, I'd rather give birth to 100 babies ... one right after the other, than to have to go through hypocalcemic shock again. :(
