Not necessarily. I celebrate Christmas by name every year and I am a mega-Atheist. Christmas is a time to spend with your family, sing silly songs, bake cookies and give people gifts. Sure it has it's roots in religion, but it has grown beyond that now.

Christmas is based upon a religious event but is a secular holiday that many people that are not Christian celebrate. I believe that Harry potter mostly deals with Witchcraft so I believe the correct term would be Wicca.

Thank you for the negative votes and comments, but just because the book does not mention Wicca, the books are obviously about scorcery... So I guess what you're trying to say is that you can be involved in scorcery and spells without having anything to do with witchcraft?.... doesn't make too much sense to me but to each his/her own...

It isn't really touched upon... Dunno whether he's Christian- celebrating Christmas does not mean you're definitely Christian (I know loads of non-Christians who celebrate Christmas)...
