I know there is a certain order of key's you hit to make it look inverted. Like the back turns black and other things change color, but I forgot the key's you have to hit. Can anyone help me out?

There is no such key combination on Windows XP (dont know on Vista) As far as I know its from application that come from some VGA brand (intel if im not wrong)
You hit Ctrl+Alt+Up to flip your display and other arrow key to flip it.

.....I figured it out once. By mistake. At 1AM. Bad times.

I believe it was a numerical command, probably involving the alt key, and/or the ctrl key. Lets see what I come up with.

Try searching support.microsoft.com you may find what you're looking for.

http://www.microsoft.com/enable/training/windowsxp/magnifierinvertcolors.aspx was the closest I found, but since you know what you're looking for better than I do, go ahead and search for it in support.microsoft.com
