Every year someone says that! Crock of crap if you ask me! God will come but I don't believe it will be anytime soon! I think it is a hope some people think so that they don't have to experience the death of the body and instead seperate with ease! The last days will be bloody! Freedom and liberty will have been lost and not just on a few issues but on all! Be thankful these are not the last days!

Only God knows when the last days are. I personally think we are barrelling toward them. We are told it will be as in the days of Noah and if you read the biblical description it sure sounds like today's world. This is a question that could (and has) taken a million words to answer. The best answer I can give you is to live every day as if that is the day the Lord will appear. If you do that, you can't go wrong.

Good question...the Bible, of course, states that no one knows the day or the hour, but it does describe a number of events which will take place prior to the last days. One, for instance, is the rapture of the church....another is the rise of the anti-Christ. It states that there will be an increase in wars, natural disasters, and all manner of immorality.
Read through the newspaper today and it's easy to see a number of similarities to the events described in the book of Revelations. Seeing all the rotten things that man is capable of, one could conclude that we must be living in the last days. I think it's important to consider these signs from a historical perspective, however. It's natural for us to think that our own problems are worse than anyone else's problems...it's in our nature to be self-centered.
I suspect that the people of Europe who lived through the bubonic plague may have thought they were living in the last days, as carts were wheeled through the city streets so that residents could bring out their dead. Or possibly the citizens of Rome as they watched their empire fall to the barbarian tribes. Or perhaps the people who survived the death camps of World War II. My point is that although there is a lot of evil and cruelty in the world today, it's hard to say that our experience is any worse than that of countless others throughout history. There have always been wars, famine, upheaval...who are we to say that what we see around us is indicative of the last days.
Personally, I believe that the Lord will return one day, but I also believe that it is fruitless for me to try to determine when that will be or to sit on my hands waiting for it. There's work yet to do here on earth, and each new day is a chance for us to make a difference in someone else's life...for the better or the worse. Perhaps if we put more focus on helping one another, the times we live in won't seem that bad after all.

December 21, 2012. That is the day the Mayan "Long Count" calendar ENDS. Some say that is when major changes will happen on the earth.
Some say President Bush believes this coincides with the Christian end times legend, and that why he seems to care so little about the future of mankind. It might also be why he visited the Mayan ruins on his South American tour. That might be why he wants to ramp up the space program again, so he can evacuate himself and a select few to another planet before it happens.
Google the date and you will find enough information to keep you reading until the end of the world.
Aren't theories fun?

I don't think we should worry about each day being the last. We should live every day like it is though! Live it, don't worry it. Don't waste a wonderful life worrying it away. And NO, I don't believe these are the last days.

Whether or not we are living in the Last Days is moot.
Here is one fact that you can take to the bank: The moment the doctor whacked you on the *** and you took your first breath outside the womb, you began to die. So, one should live his/her life as though this is their last day. That does not mean to do as you please and to hell with everybody else; but, rather, live your life according to the Golden Rule and expect a Judgement Day, whether one happens or not.
The bank, by the way, won't give you one red cent for this bathroom philosophy.

God has left the earth and it´s people years ago. He left the Human race to rule themselves. As a result, we´re still killing each other in unprecedent numbers with no end in sight. Those of us who have even reach the age of maturity are just very very lucky. Those of us who live like in the days of Sodom and Gomorra Aids is spreading like wild fire. Those of us who still think that living with the mentality of false pride and arrogance " Bush the Rich and Wealthy and Co". Your days are truly numbered.Until we establish real Peace and Harmony without Hate and Racism; we´ll all continue to live in the last days. Think of those who aren´t able to see, speak, listen ,walk, laugh, spend money, drive expensive vehicles, live in a decent house, enjoy good health, travel,Children who won´t reach our age, innocent people getting killed, wars, disease. The" Last days" is a vague statement !

While there is always the possibility of a freak asteroid strike, or perhaps a total thermonuclear war, I would say no, no you're not living in the last days. And even if mankind is wiped out by something, the universe will soldier on without us.

Who knows, Revelation and the Apocalypse can simply mean the death of one reality and the birth of another. I myself am looking forward to the future although I believe that man will destroy itself if we don't reach a level of spirituality necessary to promote peace and love. And there's another problem, we have all these people promoting peace and love but claiming their religion is the truest one, all these things lead to further destruction and dismay, altho many people are learning, I have no idea if we're learning fast enough, cause if we're not then I expect the worse. But have faith! Losing faith will only lead this existence to destruction faster and faster. Keep your head up and your soul strong, we live forever my friend.
