My roommate keeps pulling knives on me, & I need to move out, but I'm on a fixed income & don't have any place else to go. My landlord wants to evict ME & not her, & the police wants to arrest ME & not her because she will pull a knife on me every time she sees me, & then when the police comes, she hides the knife & they search her room & want to arrest me because they think I'm lying, when I'm telling the truth. It's all about her being jealous because I'm the youngest person in the apartment & with a college degree.
Because of this situation & me finding out about my boyfriend cheating on me & then wanting all the gifts he gave me back, I keep having constant panic attacks & Tourette's outbursts.
I need help. I haven't even been eating. My roommate pulled a knife on me last night. I don't feel normal. I got a college degree, & my whole career is about to be ruined behind jealousy. I'm quiet & humble & don't bother anyone. How am I going to jail because someone pulled a knife on me?

you need to calm down first. i know stress makes tourette's worse.
call the non-emergency number of the police department and explain just what you have told us.
do any of your other roommates have issues with this person?
and you need to eat. don't let this person ruin another aspect of your life.
and push come to shove, go and stay at a shelter. at least you will be safe.
do you have someone to speak to? there are free and low cost counselors available in most areas.

Oh crikey! It's all about poor you poor you poor you! Maybe you should look at your own behaviour and then you might understand why everybody seems to be against you. Did you forget to mention you had the knife pulled on you because you abused and threatened your roommate? Seriously, are you paranoid? Pathological liar? Drama queen? Why would your roommate be jealous of you when you have the police wanting to put you in jail, a failed relationship and cant afford your own place? Get some help.

Make arrangements with family to get out. Borrow the money if necessary. Call a homeless shelter to stay at until you can get together some money to get on your own. Nobody deserves to be threatend like that. Just get out, leave, take what you can that is yours, and leave, don't wait for the roomate to hurt you before you decide to go, and don't worry about what you have to leave behind your life is more important then material things. So leave, there are plenty of places to seek shelter, other friends, salvation army, your parents, just get out now.

What you need to do is set up a video camera or tape recorder so you can get these idiots showing themselves being guilty.Heresay will not lock you up in jail.Anyway if it's that crazy in there you don't need to be in that type of situation. If I was you I would be done bailed out of there they're just trying to bring you down to there level. You've got a lot more since than that so don't go there!

Translation:

I don't have the money to move because I refuse to be a productive part of society and get a job....thus i steal from those with jobs to get my 'fixed income'. The same people who have to take out student loans for school also paid for my education. Isn't communism wonderful? I refuse to tell the whole story here, and i am going to jail due to something i did but am looking for someone to blame everything on. To do this I claim some bogus 'psycho babble' disorder.

I am really worried for you. I would go see a mental health professional because I think you may be having persecutory delusions with paranoia. Please do this right away! There are medications that can treat this condition and help with the tourette's. (Abilify). Please, please, please do this.

I work in a security hospital as a mental health nurse. Please take my advice and see someone. I see many people like you that are really just good people at heart and they end up at the security hospital because they didn't get help or they refused to acknowledge their symptoms. They are usually here for many, many years! You can prevent this from happening to you!

Go sleep at a shelter. They can help you get back on track.
And get a restraining order.

I would suggest locating the nearest Catholic Charities and see what they can do for you.
