Give me a break!!!!!!!

Why is it that when we do not step to the plate to help someone then everyone gets bent out of shape because the "Americans" did not do anything.

When most countries learn to step to their own plate and clean their own slate then and only then will America(The Land of the Free) will be able to sit back and take a breather

What planet do you live on?

Since when does a Buddhist worship one God, especially the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob? They don't. And Mormonism is a cult, it's not mainline Christianity either. Since your teachings are not Biblical, they are null and void in this conversation.

You have a home in China and you're an American? Nothing like consorting with Communists. Are you a Communist too?
If you consider China your home, then go there, and renounce your US citizenship. And if you think the US is so bad, you need to leave anyway.

We're fighting because Muslims murdered 3000 innocent people in the streets of NY and Washington D.C. And the victims of those attacks deserve justice. 10,000 kids are orphaned due to those Muslim murderers. And if you think we're in this war for the wrong reason, then you need to pack up, leave, and take your Commie wife with you.

We're not out to "take over the world." We're trying to keep Muslims from killing our civilians. And if you think that is not a war worth fighting, then you are sadly mistaken.

If you think China is so great, pack your junk and leave, the US borders are open and you're free to go.

Its an interesting question, and pretty hard to predict. First off China probably would not be as economically strong as it is now. For the most part China's economic power has come from US companies opening shop there since their government opened up capatilist zones. The British, Germany, or Russia would be the most powerful country. The British as I have read, weren't exactly great to their colonies, such as India, South Africa to name a couple. Germany I dont have to go into that most likely. The middle east and Israel has been an ongoing conflict since biblical times, read the old testament its full of war, the USA govt. is a bunch of fools to think they can change it. Remember when the British and Spanish were the most powerful countries, there was always war, the Spanish were very brutal in their takeover of Latin America, the British and French were in war for decades. China and India still have very frothy relationships about border disputes. Looking back in history, the period where the USA was a superpower has been relatively peaceful. I think your perception of the USA is wrong, tourism in the USA is at all time high, we still have the largest amount of immigration to the US than any other country, thousands risk death just for a chance to live here, even more than in Europe, and I havent heard many people trying to get into China, mainly becuase China simply deports them, or lets them go hungry. The vast majority dont mind Americans, and welcome them to visit their country. I have only been to about 23 different countries, and have been welcome with open arms each time, I have been to China, but not recently my recollection is it was dirty, crowded, and smelled. Maybe right now those living in poverty in China have cable TV like the people in poverty in the US do, I dont know. Next week, I am going to New Zealand, and I am pretty confident I will have a great time, and I wont hear one Anti-American sentiment.

Americans would like to be more peaceful. I suspect you have no idea how many wars have been avoided by peaceful means. We are, however, not going to ignore commitments to others. Most of the wars in the last 60 years were because of those commitments; SE Asia, Korea, Kuwait. It's funny how everyone wants to believe we're trying to conquer the world but we're the first ones they call when they are confronted by an enemy.
Lest anyone forget we tried to stay out of WWII. We tried to work out a peaceful solution before Korea and SE Asia. Peace can not be onesided. If there are those who are willing to attack without reason there are also those who are willing to stand up to them.
Unlike those who wanted to build great empires, we have never held any ground we have won. It has been turned back over to the people who live there. Had that not been the case we would control Japan, Italy and Germany.

Is this a joke? Are you really this naive? Of course we do not want to fight everyone, just the people who want to kill us!
Not everyone is equal, not all cultures are good. Are the Islamist terrorist who cut off heads good people? Should we honor their culture?
America is rich and powerful because of our unique combination of 1) belief in the rule of law - based on Judeo-Christian principles 2) Democracy 3) Free market economy. It's not an accident.
You think China is harmonious? My wife is from China too. I know there is much strife there. It's kept quiet though by the state. Someday soon it will boil over and the Communists will have a tough time dealing with it.
I pray that YOU will receive some realism and some wisdom.
Good luck.

Americans have always and only entered into war to champion for the cause of others.....When a war has been won by America have they ever placed a flag and claimed it as a state of America, No and in fact the Americans have always gone back and helped them to rebuild...Look it up. America has always jumped in willingly and given their lives proudly to help other countries fend off an invading army....We haven't always won and our soldiers have suffered because of small thinkers like yourself who cannot see America as it is.....the cowards who claim peace at all costs and refuse to defend the weak are always trying to bring down the brave because somewhere deep inside, you must feel some shame. Even God had his people take up weapons to defend the weak.....You use your words to try and make America look small, but it is you, who sits on his backside and criticizes that is small......

A man much smarter and wiser than you said: "Walk softly, but carry a big stick!" He became President Teddy Roosevelt. And you know what? He was right. Another great American said: "To insure peace, we must always be ready to make war." He was also right.
Be passive if you want. Hard men will do nasty work to keep you safe. I just hope that if I need help, you're not my neighbor.

I sure wish you would move to china, you seem to like it there so much. For you information, we do not start the wars. Radical Islam will not make peace with the West until all of us convert to Islam. Or die. I sure as hell dont want to convert to their bloody religion. I'd rather we fight. And THATS what the "War on Terror" is REALLY about. .....theTravman

They fought on the wrong side in the 1st real world war (Napoleonic 1812)

Were late for the next two (WW1 & WW2)
