I am on day two of antibiotics and my throat is killing me. Also I took some tylenol for the fever, it went away but now it's back. I am sweating. I keep going from 98.7 to 100.9 . Does anyone know what the normal temps are for adults..I lost my booklet to my ear thermometer.

You should be about 98.6 degrees. I had strep and my fever went back and forth, especially since I took Tylenol which is a fever reducer. You may want to get some throat lozenges that numb your throat. I tried Aspergum and it worked like a miracle! Chloraseptic drops are good, so is NICE. The fiery throat is worse than the fever for me. Also, if you see some Zinc tablets at the store, this helped me a lot. And the more fluids you can drink the faster the antibiotics will work. I hope you can get some things to make you feel better. Hot tea with honey can help too. Best of luck to you!!

totally normal. if it goes above 103 then you worry.
for a child anything above 101.
again, all of this depends on your base temp (ie what is is when you are not sick. 98.6 is just an average, of course)
