or should the question be "does time really exist" or is it just a construction that humans made to measure a specific period in a hope to rationalize life

Time cannot stop. Atoms are made of particles and those particles are made of smaller particles all spinning round and round acting as a solid.
Like the spokes of a bicycle tire...when stopped you can put your hand through the spokes but when spinning it acts as a solid preventing passage.
If time were to stop, then the particles would stop spinning and atoms would cease to function and all things physical would dissolve into nothing.

Time and space... space meaning an area in question such as 10 feet in front of your door. All time exists in that space. Who has sat there before, sits there still but in a different time.

Time is a concept of motion. When all motion stops that is when all energy leaves the universe time will stop. There is no way of knowing that will ever happen.
