Why do So many people Convert to Islam?

Islam is said to be the fastest growing religions, in places of free thought like USA; So why are people converting to islam with free will?...

you can bother clicking on the links to support my argument; and i knew about the quote cuz im indian and i read that in my history book so i thought i'll dig it up on the net.

catty, if you're indian.....and hindu then i dont mean to insult your religion but if you say islam is violent and the "HELL NO".........then um take another look at hinduism, they worship elephants(ganesh) and cows(mata) and they dont eat meat because cow is their ma. I dont want to insult india but take a look in the mirror.

Because that religion has one of the best books ever made..but the bad part is people are fanatic with some areas of the book giving a bad reputation to that Religion

Tht depends on satisfaction of the religion. The religion probably defines their character, the religion probably interprets the world accept by the person. Just like food or drink mate, y do every one have their own favorite food or drink? The answer would be the satisfaction they enjoy.

Islam is the only religion which teaches the existence of a PERFECT God. A perfect God means that there is no sharer in His Nature and His Attributes:

in Islam there are no priests or clergy -- each worshipper, man or woman, has a direct relationship with their Merciful Creator -- Almighty God. Since God is the Owner and Sustainer of everything, as well as the only one who can provide true and complete forgiveness, it is completely futile to try to approach Him through anyone else.

Although Christianity is the number one religion through out the entire world based on population, I think that Islam is becoming more popular based on recent publicity. Here in America a lot of individuals are threatened by it since they simply don't understand Islam faith which creates gossip and other talks. However, it also creates curiosity. So perhaps in large part it is the attention which has spawned from recent events.

I am an atheist myself, so dont consider me as a muslim trying to inflate the religion. I have done studies on a lot of religions, at least the most popular ones in the world, and islam seems to be the most refined. Because it talks about every aspect in life, one who follows it properly, can actually lead a very good life. I am not saying the other religions are in any way inferior. Buddhism is a fantastic religion. But the way of life in Buddhism is a bit too extreme for the modern era!

Christianity is Muslim religions are the two largest in the world most people that convert aren't really sure where they stand in the first place and it could also refer back to how you were raised as a child. Some people chase answers for their questions and then find themselves in a religion.

Latter days they will fall away from sound doctrine. These people are proving the Bible to be all TRUTH. Many have turned their backs on God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They fall for other doctrines like Scientology, New Age, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, the Cult, etc., etc.

It is the fastest growing religion but I never hear of people converting to islam....

The reason why it is the fastest growing religion is because people of muslim origins have many many children.... I live in an Australian city that has a large muslim population and everyone here sees it happening.....

Many people are not having their basic needs met in their lives. they are looking for something, even if they are not quite sure what it is.

And so, they turn to a religion which is in the news a lot lately.

Its not surprising.

I think the more self-actualized people become, the less relevant all religions will become.

I can't wait.
