I've been living abroad for 20 years now, and have depended on local national insurance. But now I'm looking for more comprehensive health and life insurance (got married, finally, a couple of years ago).

I do a lot of travelling, and I soon I will relocate to another country.

One medical Insurance plan I'm considering is called "International Health Insurance danmark" (IHI), part of an organization called "British United Provident Association" (BUPA). Has anyone heard of this? Or can you recommend any other companies?

Thanks a million!

Hi

Im from Copenhagen, Denmark and know 'International Health Insurance danmark a/s' (IHI). It is a health insurance company that originally specialised in insuring Scandinavian expats that werent covered by the national health insurance. Because of the quality of the insurances (they have an inhouse medical team and very few exclusions) IHI now insure 250.000 people worldwide of all nationalities. BUPA bought IHI in 2005. Its a British health insurnace company that both offers domestic and international health insurances. Both IHI and BUPA have reputations for being fair and service minded. Ive had a travel insurance from IHI. I didnt have to use it, but I was happy it covered me a whole year and everywhere in the world. Also, it was very easy to buy online. Hope that helps!

you may probable get coverage even though it is going to maximum in all likelihood fee plenty greater advantageous than $3 hundred or $4 hundred hundred a month, there'll be a deductible of possibly $500 to $2,000 money and it won't conceal a pre-contemporary subject; so it won't pay on your treatments. So, you like coverage even though it won't conceal your contemporary subject.

Here are several excellent companies to check out; each has at least one plan that covers people who live and travel abroad most of the time:
