Why dont more people tell men to wait until marriage?

I constantly hear ppl telling women to wait until marriage they should tell men that too!!!

Unfortunately, even in these times, a double standard still exists between men and women in the arena of sex. Think about this, what's the reaction a woman gets when she announces she's a virgin and at least 18? People say, "That's great! I wish I would have waited."

Now, think about what people say to males who ACCIDENTALLY let it slip that they are still untouched. You usually hear from women, "Aww. I think that's wonderful." From other males, you'll hear, "What a loser. You need to get some..." or something along those lines.

Men have to deal with pressures from other men, which can be overwhelming to their egos. How often do you hear men boast about their supposed sexual conquests? This is because they find the need to reinforce their manhood, so to speak.

As far as society as a whole, we still view women on a different plane than men when dealing on the subject of sex. We think of women and sex and immediately assume it's an emotional attachment and it's about intimacy only, even though this isn't always the case.

When we think of men, we envision a predator searching for his next mate. This is because we've given males the role as the sexual animal, whereas women are the prey. I'm speaking in generalities; there are always exceptions to these rules.

Until society catches up with the "real" woman in today's world, you're going to continue hearing the skewed advice from one sex to the other. :)

Double standard. Society can't accept female sexuality, still! It's sad. Abstinence was never really meant to be for males no matter what some sex negative religious person will tell you. Historically, men were and are allowed to sleep with many women and it's always the women who get punished. It's the whole 'boys will be boys' thing and woman? Eh, we're all just dirty skanks and baby makers anyways. (sarcasm!)

Because BOYS do not ask why they are pregnant and the woman left them. Because BOYS do not ask if they are bad for sleeping around. A question can be answered by a person, only if it is asked. If BOYS did ask, I would tell them.
