As long as you cook the chicken and eggs fully there will be no problem. Under cooked chicken and raw eggs are the source of the most salmonella cases.

chicken & eggs are being consumed since a while again now. last year after the bird flu there was a scare but we have overcome that. just ensure that u are buying both of them from a reliable source & they have a regular supply & keep fresh stock. also ensure that cooking has been done thoroughly. u should be fine.

well yes you can for now, because no case of Bird Flu (virus H5N1) has not been reported in India yet. But its best to avoid because Bird Flu can strike India any day since it has already been reported in neighbouring countries (read Afghanistan, Myanmar)
