I flew with emirates to perth via dubai, I was told I could 20 kg's of baggage allowance. I have put the link from emirates on here for you to, enjoy your flight with them they are fab !!

hi if you join there frequent flyer club ,FREE to join you will get extra baggage allowance ,it,s does not matter if you never fly with them again you still get airmiles and extra baggage allowance

The allowance should be written on your ticket - usually about 20kg.
