Well, that comes from our much larger cerebral hemisphere. Our frontal lobe, and more specifically the prefrontal cortex, lends us the ability to plan and think abstractly. In a sense, it is sort of the foundation of morality, because without such a structure (or structures) we wouldn't be able to abstract rewards and consequences, nor would we be able to connect abstract actions to reactions. It lends us our ability to delay gratification, instead of giving into our physical desires.

through the long process of evolution, our smarter ancestors lived on and produced offspring. Their less-intelligent brothers did not (probably because they did stupid things that got them killed). Over time, we just got smarter and smarter.

Some animals have power, some have speed, some have amazingly sharp senses or unique ways of moving. We have brains.

Don't all animals think?? Am I the only one to observe my cat and dog in deep thought? How egotistic we humans are! We are so full of ourselves---and the animals are the true survivors!!!

this is not a question of religion,...it is a question of biology
other animals have less brain cells and less complex brains while we,humans have the most, thats why we can practise our thinking power more to our benefit, the other animals DO have a power to think but they really cant practise it as much as us with that
