Einstein's teacher in his primary school level pronounced him as a useless boy and always rejected him as one with very low intelligence.

Srinivasa Ramanujan had failed in his University level due to his poor English (during the British period)

Thomas Alva Edison never went to school

Aadi Shankara was rejected by his community (Namboothiri) as an untouchable.

Thiru Valluvar was born in a community where except him more or less all others were scoundrels and prostitutes.

What do these and the hundreds of examples of great personalities tell us?

Essentially, we need to observe and recognize that such great personalities (who are considered as geniuses by all of us) are NORMAL PEOPLE WHO HAD TAKEN THE TROUBLE OF OBSERVING AND ANALYZING THE SURROUNDING PHENOMENA MORE INTENTLY AND INTUITIVELY THAN ORDINARY PEOPLE LIKE US; AND THEY ALSO PURSUED WHAT THEY FELT AS APPROPRIATE, THROUGH CONCENTRATION DETERMINATION AND INTEREST, UNPERTURBED BY STATEMENTS AND COMMENTS MADE BY THE OTHERS.

The story of Sir Isaac Newton's great leap to propound one of the Greatest and Original concepts of the LAW OF GRAVITATION is a case for examination, to understand these aspects. The story is that Newton propounded his Laws of Gravitation when an"apple fell on his head". This must be understood in the context of what Newton was concentrating on for a few years during that period. It must also be noted that the apple's falling to the earth was due to gravity had been understood from as early as Aristotle; but what differentiated Newton from all others was in his EQUATING THE FALL OF THE APPLE TO THE EARTH WITH THAT OF THE MOON GOING ROUND THE EARTH!!! The two phenomena was rightly understood by him to be the functions of the Earth's Gravitational pull. His concentrated efforts and analyses culminated into various definitions, theories, and he also created the mathematics needed for proving his concepts - CALCULUS.

Many other stories of such "GENIUSES" would run more or less on similar vein - CONCENTRATION, DETERMINATION and INTEREST supported by OBSERVATION and IMAGINATION, in WORKING TO SOLVE A NAGGING PROBLEM.
