Sure he said that. Not one Christian I know uses that lame argument.

How does an atheist have a Pastor, by the way? Curious.... (Yeah, I looked up your previous questions..)

Satan did not need to plant fossils. Scientist and Atheists are plenty eager to believe in evolution no matter what fossils they find.

No, you made it up. No pastor told you that. the fact is, God sent a flood to destroy the world and the fossils are there as a testimony to God's judgement.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

As a conservative Christian the answer is No.Your Pastor is looking for easy answers to a complicated question. The right question is :Did dinosaurs exist along with humans ? I think there is a lot of evidence to say ,yes.I think there were some, not a lot as they were on the way out.

bones are real, for we see them. they are from those that died in the flood. many say they are millions of yrs old, false. for they base this on carbon dating and that is a flawed science. for carbon dating alone will date a living snail at 27,000 yrs old.

plus to prove they are from the flood, why don't we find bones of animals and humans from just few hundred years ago? why are they all dust? why are the billions of bones over the years dust but these all survived? cause they were buried in water and mud, encased, and put under pressure, in turn creating a fossil.

your preacher, like others, say this cause they don't understand more about science to give the logical answer so they just round it all up to "satan planted them". well, he is half right, satan planted the fake carbon dating and made so many believe in is errors.

for testing by it on the shroud of turin alone came up with 3 separate ages. if it was a real science, it would of given 3 of the same answers, for math is math, 2+2=4, not 5, 7, and 4.

Your pastor is using his carnal mind (the flesh) to try to understand spiritual things.

Christians have told me Satan created cannabis. Satan cannot create anything; he can only twist, pervert and mess up, through human activity, what God has created.

When I asked God (in desperation) why He created cannabis, he gave me the answer that is obvious to anyone but a Christian screwed up by false teaching: "It can be used wisely."

I am NOT advocating the smoking of cannabis, by the way.

Pastor's have all the answers. But all of them disagree on things. It doesn't matter whether or not Satan does this or that to fool people. Use your own judgement on things. One thing I do know is that we all know right from wrong whether we admit it or not, and that is what we will be held accountable for.

Taking your pastor's sermon out of context, he sounds like he is either trying to start a cult, or he needs to come off the drugs. Read the bible. There is nothing even remotely like that in God's word. I suggest you find a new church....

Your pastor is wrong in his deduction. The fossil record demonstrates the Evolution is wrong - see: Center for Science and Culture : www.dissentfromdarwin.org (for a real eye-opener).
