I don't think they were claiming it as the Only cause, just one possible cause.

That list of "Creationist"scientists has absolutely nothing to do with this question.

I doubt if they were actually "Creationist" in your likely use of the term anyhow. They definitely ran against the Church teachings.

At that time every teaching post was under the control of the Church. If you were Not a Christian you simply did Not teach.
Good ridance to that!

There it is! I've been waiting for this since your last question.

I don't think it's that simple. While people with epilepsy can have ecstatic experiences, epilepsy is not the only cause of those experiences.

i think of what makes a non secular adventure authentic is that it grew to become into brought about with the help of something supernatural. yet i think of the question you propose to ask is how we are in a position to comprehend in spite of if a non secular adventure is authentic or no longer. That, i'm uncertain. i think if the non secular adventure imparted some form of know-how which you will possibly desire to no longer have consumer-friendly in any different case, and it grew to become out to be precise, it extremely is a good clarification for supposing that it grew to become into probable authentic. yet while a "non secular adventure" is in basic terms some form of emotion, i do no longer think of there is any thank you to tell. lots of issues might reason us to have emotional reviews.

That would answer so much. I know churches try to brainwash their subjects. Surly there is some type of trauma caused to induce the fear of god. You should get a federal grant to study this.
