what is a douche and what does it do!!?

The purpose is for girls that have a funk smell that they can't kick with soap and water.

FYI:::It is best to use only water when douching because the premix messes up the PH level in the vagina more than water alone. Hint*douching can cause a women not to become pregnaunt as easily if done too much. I do it with fresh water every shower and started it 4 yrs ago when I learned it decrease chance for pregnauncy. No babies and I have been married all 4 yrs with no birthcontrol and no condoms. Must be working. It is not a for sure and can cause a permanent ph level changing problem to the vagina and cause a women to never reproduce...Be sure you want to screw your system before using this method..it is not scientifically proven, only learned by nurses I have met while in my time practice.

Douches also come in prepackaged, ready-mix, one-use containers. An example would be Summer's Eve. Some ready-made douches come with different fregrances and formulas for extra cleanliness and to eliminate odor.

As far as homemade mixes? I'm not sure how they are made, but I know they sell home douche kits at stores like Wal-mart. As far as "recipes," I'm unable to find any online at this time.

Truth be told, it's not necessary to douche, and it's actually not recommended. The reason is that your vagina basically is self-cleaning. The bacteria that lives in the vagina is helpful in removing the harmful bacteria that may enter it. Washing the outside of the genital area is just fine.

it's used to clean and refresh the vaginal area after a yeast infection or treatment of vaginitis or other issues, but you're advised to not do this a lot because your vagina actually cleans itself and when you keep squirting substances up there you can lower or even increase the PH in the vaginal chemistry causing you to be prone to infections or vaginitis or making problems down there worse. Only douche once a month because often is too much and can make your vaginal issues worse. Consult with your Gynecologist on how many times you should actually douche to where it's safe and not excessive to where it makes a problem worse.

a douche is a wash specifically for the vagina. unfortunately, if was designed by men who really don't understand that the normal woman's vagina needs certain flora- bacteria- to stay healthy. the douche washes it away.

what they said. and its acculy not good for you and it can cause infections, and its mainly used to wash out the sperm after sex but it can acculy push the sperm further up. dont do it.
