You could try burgundy, teal (Blueish Green), or a beautiful blue it goes great with ivory, and put some ivory colours mixed in with the flowers.
Good luck and Congratulations for your sister.

Don't change your mind just yet on the RED. Depends on the shade of Red. A blue/red goes better with white , a black/red or aged red goes well with Ivory. Any color that is muted or has a dusty or aged look to it will be great with Ivory.
Plum, Dusty Rose, Perwinkle Blue, Celadon Green, and colors that come out in Fall look fabulous with Ivory!

RE:
Wedding: What goes with ivory?
Hi,
I'm helping my sister with her wedding colors lately. She has this very beautiful, elegant ivory wedding gown at Davids Bridal (can't find a picture =[ )--with sequins and these very pretty ornates. But before, she thought she would be getting a white gown, so red would have been a...

By the way ivory and red is a good combo,
also gold, lavender, sky blue, pink, Ivory works just like white, just get a piece of material of any of these color and put them next to the ivory dress and you will see what i mean. In my wedding all the bridesmaids had on lavender dresses, the men had on lavender suit coats and ivory pants, my dress was ivory and my husband suit was lavender, Good Luck to each his own.

I disagree. I think a dark red, like wine, would look beautiful with ivory! Think red velvet cake. :) I don't know for a second color. I think peach would be pretty. Tell her to go on david's bridal's website. They now have a virtual wedding program where you can dress your entire bridal party in their colors and see how it looks together. That's what I did.

My first thought when reading this was a deep red, like a marroon or burgundy. Those are dark but would be beautiful with ivory. Or how about gold?

How about lavendar? Or a bright hot pink? Also, a good person to speak with for colors, would be a florist. After all, they arrange beautiful flower arrangements, with various colors, and do weddings. Florists would be the way to find out the best, in person. Take care.

I'm not that great at this but what about a pastel color? (Like light pink, light blue, light green, etc.) Or orange? Like I said I'm not good at this kind of stuff. My wedding was White and all shades of pink.... but I wanted to throw those suggestions out.

You said nothing dark, but what about red? I think red is kind of on the darker side. How about wine or moca? Those compliment ivory.
