Talent! When you have an audition, you may be asked to perform a monologue. Be prepared for anything. You never know what you will have to do for an audition.

It really depends on the type of audition your are going to. Almost all will ask for a head shot and resume of your acting/singing experience. If it's an acting job they may make you read or recite a monologue. If it's a musical/opera then you will be asked to sing (you should bring your music for an accompanist if there will be one provided.) Other than that - you might want to bring some dance shoes if you need to change for a "movement" audition. Also, water is good to keep you hydrated and they usually do not mind if you bring one in with you.
Above all - bring a great attitude and confidence!

I have been to auditions where you are required to bring nothing and others where you are required to bring everything! Sometimes the director will want you to bring a headshot (glossy) so that they can see your picture in a very classic way. Other times a resume is required. (a list of all acting experience, performing experience, education, etc.) People also tend to bring a vocal peice to perform (usually 16 measures or "bars") and a monolouge (just one character performing). A water bottle and dance shoes may also be helpful. Hope this helps!

Headshot and resume. If a musical, a prepared song no more than one minute that shows your range, but more importantly that you can "sell" a song. If a play, a monologue perhaps, although I've usually cast doing cold readings from the script.
