they have to pray to god as they recite namaaz and quran and it has written in quran that There is only one god and Muhammed(pbuh) is allah's messenger

Religion memes spread on contact. The question isn't "what makes muslim[s] live together" it's "why are people in a given region Muslim or Christian or Hindu or Sikh". People do first what their family teaches them, second what they can find in the neighborhood.

Muslims follow Islam no manner where they live. In some parts of the world, they are the majority. In others, they are minority. They are true to their beliefs that begins with Allah is one and that Muhammad is his prophet. They follow the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Islam is about unity. It does not discriminate against any race or nationality. It's about bringing brothers and sisters of Islam together but sometimes political issues do get in between, and that's something we have to learn to resolve really soon.
