Good God man, You act like Gays are not HUMANS!
Let me tell you that first off, while I may not like the Gay lifestyle, I however do not hate a Gay person.
Second off, just because I do not agree does not mean that I'm a Homophobic, it just means that I love the person but disagree with the lifestyle!!!!!
My sister is gay and I still love her, but I don't have to live with her or her partner
Edit:
Let me add this in (and I know that quite a few may agree) while most men do not agree with Homosexuals (Man on Man) however most do not have a problem with the woman on woman as long as it is not the wife, or in some instances it can be the wife right along in the mix (Double Standard)

>>Have you ever been to a gay or lesbian social club, party, bar, or sporting event? If not, why not?<<
I didn't even realize that clubs, parties, bars, and sporting events HAD sexual orientations! I've been to parties given for and by gay friends, if that is what you mean.
>>Do you ever stop yourself from doing or saying certain things because someone might think you are gay or lesbian?<<
No.
>>Do you ever intentionally do or say things to convince people that you're NOT gay/lesbian?<<
No.
>>Do you think someone could influence another person else to change their sexual orientation?<<
No.
>>If you are a parent, how would you (or do you) feel about having a lesbian or gay child?<<
Not the parent of any living children.
>>How do you think you would feel if you discovered that one of your parents, a parent figure, or a brother or sister were gay or lesbian?<<
I would be AMAZED at their marvelous acting job.
>>Are there any jobs or professions that you think gays & lesbians should be barred from holding or entering? Which ones and why?<<
Because the very nature of the job requires that men work and live together in close quarters while at the same time upholding the utmost chastity, men with same-sex attractions should not be admitted to the Catholic priesthood.
>>Have you ever laughed at or told a "queer" joke?<<
Yes.
>>Can you think of three positive aspects of a lesbian or gay lifestyle?<<
What is a "lesbian or gay lifestyle"?
>>Can you think of three negative aspects of a heterosexual lifestyle?<<
What is a "heterosexual lifestyle"?

Hi what is the issue here. I have no problem with anyone who is gay or lesbian, infact I could not care less. But think about it, How would it look if I posted up the same questions from a hetrosexual point of view, everyone would think I was mad. So who is trying to seperate who from who? And why are you comparing lifestyles, you asked for three positives for a lesbian or gay lifestyle and then three negatives for a heterosexual lifestyle, how come. If I found out that one of my children were homosexual, so what, I thought we loved our kids unconditionaly.

I am a parent and I don't want my children to be gay or lesbian I don't even allow them to be in the presence of gays if I am not around to monitor their behavior. I think that it is unnatural and a form of perverted sex just the same as a child molester, a sexual dysfunction that people are now trying to act like it is normal behavior and it is not. Homosexuals are sexual deviants. There is nothing nornmal about if it was than your sphincter muscle would not be detroyed in the sex act. I worked in the prison system for a long time and there is nothing normal about it. The homosexuals brutalize and brainwash individuals just like a child molester into believeing that this is something that they want to happen. I had a gay neighbor who told me as he was dying of Aids that he wished that he had never chose that lifestyle but an older man had turned him around when he was a youngster. I don't want homosexuals in the teaching profession or working with children period. I don't want them in the corrections proffessions because they allow young men and women to be raped in prison and look the other way. However, when the young mans wife or girlfriend comes for a visit they are not allow to kiss or touch each if they do their visit is terminated and the individual is not allowed to visit anymore ain't that a *****. However the homosexual acts are allowed to happen all day everyday. Promoting homosexuality in th prisons and spreading Aids and then they come home and give it to their wives and girlfriends after they leave the prisons. I think it is immoral. There are negatives aspect to every lifestyle homo or hetro sexual. I am still angry at the homosexual crossdresser who stuck his hand up my dress at a bus stop over 20 years ago however he allegedly liked men so why did he stick his hand up my dress? You people are sick minded. That is all I can say you need to seek professional help. Sex has blown your mind somehow and you don't know which way is up.

These are a lot of questions for just 2 points ... but oh well, here we go ...
I have been to gay clubs and gay events and never thought twice about it. They are fun events and I have enjoyed them.
I've never thought about speaking or acting differently, lest someone think I am gay ... no chance there, but if it happened, so what? I am not concerned with what others think.
I've never tried to convince people that I wasn't gay because it's never been a question/issue.
I don't think anyone could convince another to change their sexual orientation. I know people think they have been influential in changing someone's sexual orientation, but in reality, it never happened. One does NOT change their sexual orientation. One is attractaed to one sex or the other, and they have no choice in the matter.
I would have no problem with my son being homosexual. I would love him just the same as I do now. He is awesome because of his personality and his heart and his intellect, not because of his sexual orientation.
I would be surprised to find that a parent or sibling were gay or lesbian, but it would not change my love nor my attitude towards them.
I don't think a gay or lesbian should be barred from any profession or any job soley because they are gay/lesbian.
I have laughed at gay jokes if they were funny, but not the kind that were disrespectful to gays.
I don't look at lesbian and gay lifestyles as being any different than heterosexual lifestyles, so I can't separate the two in order to find positive and negative aspects of gay/lesbian vs. heterosexual lifestyles. To me they are the same, as all races are the same to me.

I never judge, I do not tell jokes based on race or sexual preference, and even though I live in a small city and don't know anyone who is gay, I do have a very good friend who is bisexual. She knows that I love her, no matter what her sexual preference is at the time. I don't suppose I have ever in my life told someone I am 'straight' and both of my children are grown and have made their own choices about their sexual preference.

Although you questions are quite slanted and are designed to get certain answers, I will answer to the best of my ability and my belief.
I am opposed to the gay/lesbian life style because I do not believe that this lifestyle is what God intended for his creations. I do not have any personal anamosity towards gay/lesbian people but I do not agree with their lifestyle choice. They are however, still children of God as are we all.
Sin is sin and none other than taking the Lords name in vain is any worse than any others. All lifestyles have faults and good points but that does not change the fact that the gay/lesbian lifestyle is considered by most people to be sinful.
I do not consider myself to be homophobic but do admit to being a faithful Christian.

I don't really have any homophobia. One of my friends at work is gay. We respect one another and enjoy sharing ideas and chatting. But the tragic thing is he dumped his wife to run off with his boyfriend, broke her heart. This is typical for many gays and why the lifestyle is sad. I still support them as people and wish the best for them but think a heterosexual life is more selfless; life to me is most meaningful serving others--like my wife and kids.
