Okay so I recently broke up with my boyfriend. This was the second time we had dated, and the first time he broke up with me, we were still able to be friends. But now, ever since we broke up, he's been a total jerk. I still want to be friends with him, but it's hard with him acting like a douche. He's not always this way, but out of no where he'll make a comment that just iritates the hell out of me. I REALLY want to be friends with him, but I need a way to keep him from acting so rude. Please help.

i know u still have strong feelings cause u wanna still be friends BUT if he is being a jerk and he is rude and ignorant....let him GO....no one should be treated like crap...
talk to him and try to reason with him...if he still is a jerk let him go

If you really want a friendship with him, leave him alone for awhile. He's angry & bitter and only time will fix that. You can't force a friendship with anyone. The more you hang around him while he's being a total douche, the more your friendship will suffer and you probably will end up hating him. Back off and take a break from him for awhile. That will clear his head and the anger will subside.

You have to understand you broke up with him and his pride and his self esteem is hurt. He will act the way he wants to act to get his pain and frustration out. You can't tell him how to act and how to feel. Maybe you two need some time apart to let things heal first before becoming friends. Good Luck

well i mean u cant force him to stop treating you that way...but if he really likes you give him time and eventually hell come to you because he misses you and u can start from there....
